This photo was taken on October 12, at 10:04
AM.
The location was in the street near the Convention
Center in Washington DC.
The "Take It!" came as I really looked at the
lettering on this manhole cover which I had walked over or close to many many times and saw those
first two letters which seem to have taken on their own meaning (at least in this country). While I
know they were not placed in the casting of this functional piece of iron to convey this bit of
sentimentality - I just could not help but make the conversion - and thus took the photo to see if
fun could be had in the doing.
The joy of hopeful expectation realized has been
great. When showing the photo and issuing the words about my being ever so happy in finding a hug
and a kiss in this unexpected location (complete with "communication” inclusion) takes the listener
a split second to grasp the conversion. The smile we then share is ever so genuine in the discovery
of the sentiment available.
So, my friends, try to keep a little opening
available for pleasant conversion to jump up and be available from the most unexpected of
places.*
Wishing you my very best,
Bruce
* Please be careful if the pleasantry is found in the middle of a crosswalk on a busy
street. Be extra careful if you decide to take a photo of it - as while it is not a part of the
photo presented - there were some beeping of horns from drivers who could not understand why someone
would be taking a picture in the middle of the street - lol. (If only they
knew)

It's either "Kissing" Communication or "Railroad" Communication. lol

What a strange labeling.

It's fitting for the time of year, almost like the mistletoe of the road.

I can only imagine how furious drivers would be if I decided to have a pleasant conversation in the middle of a crosswalk hahaha.
