The location was in the dining area in my home in Bethesda, Maryland.
The "Take It!" came from the addition of these simple flowers to the dining room table. Amazing how they perked up the entire room. Not
that the room is not inviting, this just made it that much more so.
The After Take: I very soon stopped showing this picture for I got the sense some of the viewers were ready to have me invite them to share a
meal with me at my home. I guess it is getting to be time for me to have a corn roast in my backyard. This is always a fun event with corn on the cob roasted in the husk on a
grill that I set up. I usually have the tables set up in my basement as we never know if it is going to rain on the date set for the event. One thing that we do know for certain and that is
that it is going to be hot and more than likely humid. The air conditioned basement takes care of off setting all of this, enabling us to have an even greater time.
Here is hoping everyone has some type of traditional summer meal that involves the out of doors (even if it might be just for the grilling of
the food).
Thanks for joining us for the current photo presentation. You are cordially invited to return Tuesday, October 16th for a new picture
that we hope you will enjoy.
Wishing you the best,
Bruce
PS: Part of the fun is providing left over corn on the cob as a take home for everybody. It gives everyone a chance to relive some
memory of the fun of the event.

Nice spread!

The flowers really accentuate the color pallet you have in the room.

I haven't seen the surface of my dining room table like that in months.

Gabe, Teri, and Sarah, Thank you for your kind comments concerning the flowers; especially the mention of the "color pallet."
Jeff, a true confession must be made. The table was actually cleared in order to make room for the flowers. It remained cleared until the flowers wilted, it then went back to being a double for my desk as well as dining. It is once again being cleared to a home office that I set up in a spare bedroom.
