This set of photos was taken on April 27, 2012
The location was in Crystal City, Virginia.
The "Take It!" came from the sky being so very clean due to our having had rain for a few days preceding. The clouds were also very white and
the contrast ever so great. I was in an area that had many high rise buildings in it so played with incorporating them as the lower border and in one instance the sides as well in framing the
clouds.
The After Take: All who have looked at these shots seem to enjoy the clarity and contrasts they offer. It is not that there were many
clouds which offered cloud shapes, but they were strong and clean, a pleasure to look at. The angularity of the buildings offered a fun border.
Here is hoping you have some fun match ups with the sky where it meets the what ever is on the horizon. I know that many times I have not been
willing to let myself see overlaps where they may have been just there waiting to show off their great blends.
Thanks for joining us for the current photo presentation. You are cordially invited to return Friday, November 9th for a new picture
that we hope you will enjoy.
Wishing you all the best,
Bruce

Haha, that sky is a lot clearer in the picture than it was in that area recently.
On that note I hope you all of you "New Englanders" are doing well. Our thoughts and prayers are with you!

We join Teri in having a heartfelt good wish for all of those wherever they may be who have been affected by this awful storm. We have made a donation to the Red Cross and asked that it be used for disaster relief from the Hurricane. The Washington DC area, while having been hit by the storm - was very fortunate in that many or us did not loose power but sadly a few lives were lost in our area. This is yet another time for us to count our blessings.
