The location was in Tyson's Corner, Virginia.
The "Take It!" came from the realization of just how individual the leaf falling is on a tree by tree basis. It could be said " Some go, and others stay to Show ". It was an overcast
day and somehow seemed to accentuate this difference. I stopped and took photos of several different comparisons that were side by side. It is all a part of the gradual colorful show
that we enjoy in this part of the world the fall. There are so many variables that can effect the dropping of the leaves, such as temperature, and of course, the big one - Wind.
The After Take: The changes in the seasons and all that each brings is one of the biggest reasons I have chosen to live here. These changes bring a requirement with them for people to
respond with what sometimes are delightful rituals ( some make near sport out of raking leaves ) to the changing out of wardrobes and watching temperatures and conditions very closely to
determine what they are going to wear to keep themselves protected from the elements. It is the attraction of this dynamic of predictable change that is seemingly a part of a bit of bonding that
happens with everyone regardless of status.
Here is hoping you are happy with where it is that you are living.
Wishing you my very best!
Bruce

Our trees goes from green and alive to no leaves and dead. There is no color change to marvel at for a few weeks.

There is something to look at in both trees. Pictures like these are why I wear the name I chose for the internet.
