10/26/16
The location was in Kensington, Maryland a suburb of Washington DC.
The "Take It!" came from my being focused on the intent to make my way to a Whole Foods store in yet another community to take some possible pumpkin photos for the Fall Banner. I stopped for a traffic light in Kensington which was on the way and noticed a rough shod produce stand (dirt floor etc) and the great displays of gourds they had obviously put a lot of time into arranging.
I immediately pulled in and had a lot of fun both taking photos as well as talking with the great young lady that was minding the store.
The After Take: I wound up buying some locally made apple cider after having a sample. I also bought some honey that was also from a farm in nearby Pennsylvania. The jar of honey had a piece of honey comb in it, which helped make it irresistible.
This unexpected stop saved me over an hour by eliminating my having to go all the way to the intended original destination of Silver Spring.
Best wishes for a happy Fall Season.
Bruce

That banner really does scream fall. Cool to see the photo that birthed it.

I've never seen them called "Baby Boo's" that is a good one. I think I might take that one for myself.

I love fruit stands, farmers markets and the like. I usually spend my Saturday mornings going to them. Luckily we have them year round here.

Our youngest was absolutely fascinated by the concept of "white pumpkins." It was so cute!

Don't you just love it when you stumble onto what you need and save yourself a trip? Great pics!
