The location was in the lobby of a what once was a very busy upscale convention hotel in Washington DC.
The "Take It!" came after having looked at this couch, countless times and never noticing how the cover on the actual seating part had somehow gotten itself stretched and
broken loose from its original position. I suppose in the course of untold numbers of people sort of throwing themselves into a seated position which included a sort of
backward thrust to be more fully accommodated in the most comfortable fashion this is an understandable result.
The front edge of this red couch has taken on the look of lips - with was conjured with very little imagination required - lol.
I was on a more leisurely pace due to the lack of all manner of crowds due to the response to the current world wide virus situation - thus had more time to observe such a
small detail.
I am in very sincere hopes everyone is safe and doing what they can to practice all the precautions being called for.
I personally, am now at home and after having bought enough food* for what I think may last me a few weeks am doing some catching up. While I do not like the reason for
this - I am slowly making a dent in the projects I have waiting for my attention.
My good wishes for the safety and good health go out to each of you.
Best regards,
Bruce
* Some of what I am calling food - is not what I would ordinarily eat - but what was on the shelves when I went to the big store to pick up provisions. Yes - this even
included cans of Spam. Subsequent to this big shopping trip - one of my sons and I were laughingly speaking on the phone about how one could actually cut Spam while it
was still in the can with the pull back lid having been removed. Once the pattern of downward cuts has been made - using a fork - one can carefully, one at a time -
extract these sectioned " spears " and with the proper amount of disgust - eat the " Spam Spear " right off the fork without ever having to use a plate as a transfer
point. The laughter we shared almost had us in tears for there was no doubt each of us had engaged in the awful practice - lol I am hoping the fresh apples I also
bought can counter balance the aforementioned dining disaster - lol

My imagination finally beat my youngest child's. I had to explain this one to her.

I eat spam all the time, love the stuff. My son and daughter-in-law look at me in disgust whenever I open up a can.
