An Open Door Policy

This set of photos was taken on December 18, 2012 at 4:30 PM.
The location was on a meeting room floor in a hotel. This open door was found in Alexandria, Virginia
The "Take It!" was the suddenly seeing what I had looked at countless times before. This shadow is one seen in the right setting at the right time around the world. Seeing it this way
I must admit found me joyously taken aback, as I stepped around taking way to many shots of what was captured in the very first few. This is not the first time I have found myself caught up in
wanting to get lots of photos of an unusual or even great catch. The depth of the gift of seeing it is grand.
The After Take: All who looked at this were quite delighted in the mystery solving second photo. Many were just like me, in having looked at this many, many times before and not seen
it in the same way. Of course, Seeing the shadow and its cause in quick succession takes it out of ever being placed separately as a question, then an answer.
Ah, the fun we can have with the simple use of our imagination.
