The location was in the lobby of a very elegant hotel in Georgetown, Washington DC.
The "Take It!" came from never having seen a more simple but yet eye catching display of an Easter Egg. The overhead lighting that was in play helped to stop me in my tracks. It seemed as if just
a little piece of an Easter Egg hunt that involved a lawn setting had been carved out and placed in this attractive vase.
The After Take: As you can see - the date of the photo is ever so recent - so did not have a chance to show it to many people, but to those who I had the pleasure of sharing it with - all
were quite pleasantly taken with the image. For those who were Christians - it triggered memories of Easters of the past.
Here is hoping no matter what your religion that Easter Sunday was a pleasant day and shared if possible with family.
All my best,
Bruce

How adorable! I wonder if they did that for the kids at the hotel.

That egg looks broken in the top left. Were the real or plastic?

What a great and festive decoration. Did you see any bunnies? I remember my youngest loved Easter but was mortified of the bunny.

This was always one of my favorite holidays as a kid. It was like christmas #2 in our house. Tons of presents PLUS candy.
