These photos were taken on Saturday, November 21, 2015
at 7:48 AM.
The location was in the Georgetown section of
Washington DC.
The "Take It!" came without a second of hesitation.
The almost spray can graffiti clarity of this reflection was ever so eye catching. I stopped my car and took several shots to capture this lettering like reflection on this,
the shadow side of a stone wall. The position of the sun being able to reflect off of a number of buildings with enough intensity to give strong definition.
I took a second shot, that has been included to
show the source of the reflective surface that brought us this little, fast disappearing miracle. The "partner" in this image dance - is a low rise building accross the street.
The windows that were the actual surface are on a lower floor, which I think you can see from the intensity of the reflection.
The After Take: I showed these photos to some folks
that are occupants of the building soon after having taken them. They thought the first photo was very cool and asked of the whereabouts of the location for the shot. When I
told them, that it was immediately across the street, and if they hurried they might be able to catch it. They exclaimed something to the effect of "NO WAY!!" It was a
wonderfully fun exchange.
Here is hoping we will all "Harken when we are Parkin"
cuz who knows what, or how a message might just be there waiting for us. Lol
Wishing you a happy day,
Bruce

One of my kids sat here staring at the first picture trying to form a word out of the reflection. All because the first one "looked like a V or U." Too cute.

Is that one of the nicer areas of DC? I seem to remember on of my classmates years and years ago applying to a college in that area.

The shapes the windows cast off against the wall are interesting. Really cool photo.

That wall is absolutely beautiful, the different color stones, and with the added bonus of the lighting painted against it. Wow!!!
