This photo was taken on Saturday June 8, 2020 at 10:04 AM.
The location was in the bathroom of my home in Beltsville, Maryland.
The "Take It!” came after looking at an interum step in the installation of a wall mounted toilet to
take the place of the huge oversized one which came with the house, that overwhelmed the small
bathroom. The original was so big - that it literally ate the room. The discovery of a wall
mounting to save space was a huge find - and is on its way to opening up a lot of space to make the
small bathroom a lot easier to deal with.
Needless to say I have taken a lot of interest in the installation process. There have been a lot of
surprises as the relocation of the toilet to the opposite wall from where the original was positioned,
found some sub floor challenges which were met by the accommodating contractor making the switch out.
The photo was taken as I observed a shape having been formed by some inadvertent placement of the dry
wall sealant that formed the upturned ears of the shape of a head for a 'Teddy Bear.’ The plumbing
fixtures in the form of plastic piping provided a round nose and a below this - a larger round
mouth. All of this put together formed 'A Teddy Bear - With A Potty Mouth’ lol! I
could not believe what I was imagining - and grabbed my camera to take this photo while this plaster
was drying, and would soon enough be covered with a new layer of "Mud" as is the process in drywall
work. A lucky, funny catch to say the least.
The next day the contractor was on the job - I showed him the picture I had taken and told him the
label I had given the photo. Thankfully he " Got It " immediately and had a huge laugh out of it.
I am in hopes you were able to envision the image and were able to share with us the laughter it
provoked.
The project is still underway as I am writing this - and has yet more surprises in store. I can
hardly wait to see the anticipated results and the increased chance of having a more functional
bathroom.
Sending you my very best wishes along with the hope that you too may have found some funny happenings
as we have endured the long hours staying safe at home.
Bruce
PS: The space saving toilet is not the only item being put into place - there is yet another. But that
is another story, which is still evolving. As they say "there is more to come" lol.

I don't think I've ever seen a wall mounted toilet in a home. That's a really clever way to create space. Can we see the finished product?

This is hilarious. The pipes even look sort of like facial features.

The first home my wife and I bought in the late 90's had a very small bathroom with a very large toilet. I can understand the desire to make a change, it was so uncomfortable.

You could play checkers or chess on that tile.
