Made in the Shade

This set of photos was taken shortly after 10 am on May 12, 2012

The location was at the "Pond Beyond"  in Fairview, Virginia.

The "Take it!"  came from a return visit to this tranquil setting for it is rather refreshing to spend a few moments enjoying some outdoors time as I spend so much time in my  vehicle.  On this day, the park bench was already taken. The pair of ducks had already gotten there and were enjoying the shade. I sometimes wonder just how much animals can percieve. In this instance, if they knew just what a great day it was and how lucky they were to have happened upon this location by chance or heritage.  
The ducks looked so comfortable that I moved on as there are other benches surrounding the pond. The second photo was a zoom to the other side of the pond showing in more close up yet another site for a picknick or just great viewing.
Here is hoping you have a pond near you that you can sort of adopt and enjoy.
