This set of shots was taken in February of 2015.
The location was in Laurel, Maryland.
The "Take it!" came from having sat at this intersection many times and all at once realizing that there were quite a number of attachments to the overhead of this traffic signal holder.
I was able to count 11 bolt on items which is the record holder for my meandering observations and countings.
So much to tell us and at the same time watch over the intersection with cameras. It is a marvel. Not that long ago this would have been a string of road side installations, some of which
would have been ignored.
The After Take: Most that i showed this too were not surprised at how many items were attached to this signal pole, and I think most were not interested - lol. Ah, well it gives me one more
thing to play a game of counting with, as I move through my road tripping days.
Wishing each of you some games of your own.
Bruce

You know I see these every day, multiple times, but I have never thought to pay attention to the complexity of some.

That camera is what I think of when I think of 'the long arm of the law.'

After reading this today I made it a point to count some of these. I wrote it down but I seemed to have misplaced it. Looks like I'll be doing it once more tomorrow.

I dislike those cameras with a passion. Can you guess why? haha

How many left hand turn only signs do they need? Are there multiple lanes? Only reason I can think of.

As I was looking at the photo's I thought to myself, "How odd there are no leaves on the trees in the middle of summer." Then I noticed the date of the photo's. It all makes sense now! BTW Fun photo shoot.
