The location was in the neighborhood in
which I live - Bethesda, Maryland.
The "Take It!" came as I was taking
photographs of fallen leaves which had been raked up and were in waiting for collection. It had been growing on me that this is that season when, with the removal of
leaves from surrounding trees, the shadows cast upon a house from the structure of the trees can convert the house into a canvas full of powerful shapes which know no
boundaries.
In the instance of this house - the shadow cast seems to be coming from the front door of the home. The thought that came to
mind was "How cool is that!"
As this great season progresses with all of the excitement of Holidays and big games, I will occasionally be adding and occasional PS to a story to share a shadow
that grabbed my attention but may not have been full story worthy.
Here is hoping this Winter time is filled
with joy and good health for you and yours.
Wishing you my very best,

Those tiny trees or bushes you have in your yard look like Bonsai.

My daughter thought you meant the door cast a shadow on the roof. She then spent about 20 minutes explaining how shadows work and why the doors shadow couldn't be on the roof. Too cute!

Is that your house? I miss those old brick homes, I grew up in one. New houses just aren't the same.
