Slam Dunks on Hold

The location was from the back porch of my home in Beltsville, Maryland
The "Take It!" came from one of those " look up " moments, after having picked up the morning paper from the snow on my little back porch. The shadow from the backstop - cast upon the side
of the 2 doors down neighbor's garage - was what grabbed my eye. When symmetry is available to be attributed to the position of the sun or light source to a subject - it lends a certain extra, to
the vision.
With the sharing this web site offers us - I look for words to accompany these sometimes lucky catches. Most of the time the subject in the center offers the start to the commentary for
which I am grateful.
In this perchance - Basket ball is going to have to wait for the snow to melt, the "court be dry", the temperature to creep up to more than below freezing, and last but not least - the moving of
the van to another location.
When all of the above has happened -Then the joy from the Whoops ! - from Hoops can once again be heard.
During these days of the Pandemic - many group sports have had to be put aside - or highly monitored by medical professionals. With this being said - there is still great satisfaction in
taking the time to " Go Solo " as is very available with a ball and a basket. Yes, even an occasional whoop can triumphantly be made.

Walking out in the morning to a car covered in snow is just the worst.

My husband absolutely hates the snow, but the rest of us love it! Although I wouldn't let my kids play basketball with snow on the ground.

Hope you are in good health too! Maybe the van was put there so no one would use the court while its snowing.
