The location was in front of my house in Beltsville, Maryland.
The "Take It!" came as I had gone out to the mailbox to get the mail from the day. This being at the end of the day - I was mindful of the closing in of dark and thus was mindful of the
sky. As it was cloudy - I really was not paying close attention to the possibility of there being a chance of breaks in the cloud cover. To my surprise there was a V like - not quite full
opening in the clouds which let in some extra light. The trees in front of the house offered some contrast to make this very interesting to my eye.
I ran into the house and grabbed my camera to see if I could catch the setting. Even though the clouds had moved slightly - the effect was still there - and I was fortunate enough to catch
it.
Awareness of one's surroundings is a delightful full time job.
Wishing everyone my best,
Bruce

Is the DC area one of those "don't get too hung up on the weather because it changes every 30 minutes" areas?

When I walk out and see cloud build up like that I usually turn right back around, go inside, and work from home that day.

I love a good rain! I bet just before the downpour started was some great jogging weather.
