3/20/23
These photos were taken on Saturday 1/28/23 at 8:06 AM.
The location was in front of the bank in Silver Spring, Maryland in which I do business.
The "Take It!" came in two parts. The first was: after making a deposit via an ATM inside the bank building, I returned to and got into my car - and started it - to be on my way into a busy day. For some reason I looked up and through the windshield saw a sign holder stand which was empty. It was located on the sidewalk in front of the bank - and far enough away from the building to be able to cast a shadow - courtesy of the position of the rising morning sun - onto the front wall of the bank. I immediately took a photo from within the car of the vacant shadow. It was at that point that the second part - kicked in and had me trying to think of a possible way to include some fun in this open window of opportunity. What arrived - was the chance to position myself to cast a shadow within the shadow of my open hand - as a way of extending a greeting. The second photo was then taken.
I do not know if I will ever encounter a chance like this again - and am so glad it happened - for allows me to give everyone a greeting along with - a - thank you - for visiting our site.
Best wishes for a great day.
Bruce

This is like a weird optical illusion. It was playing tricks with my eyes.

You should get the dimensions for that sign holder and print this picture then put it in the frame lol.

I like that you called it a window of opportunity. You have two windows of opportunity happening here, one with your camera and the other the empty frame.
