This photo was taken on Thursday November 22, 2012 at 6:17pm
The location was just south of Annapolis MD. The site is on a tributary to the Chesapeake Bay
The "Take It!" came from taking a few moments while the sun was setting to step outside after having been warmly greeted by my friends who
were hosting Thanksgiving dinner. The weather was and continues to be unseasonably warm thus there was no hurry to get back inside to the fireplace heated home.
The first photo is looking back at the house from the end of the dock which is at the residence. The lights are all on in the house,
projecting a welcoming look to say the least. The ripple reflection of some of these lights is an unexpected bonus. The care they give to the maintence of this wonderful home is evident at
every turn.
In the lower photo series there are pictures which are each a story of their own. The first being the shot of the water with a near
flattened ripple which gives it a soothing effect as it is the bridge between the the fading sun illuminating the top of the photo, then transcending through the shades of blue to a deep indigo.
This is one of the most restful photos I have ever taken.
The next are a combination of photos from the deck of the house looking back at the dock with the sun giving off its last show of the day. A
very peaceful setting.
The interior photos show just some of the wonderful collection of pieces that make a decor that could be featured in any house
magazine.
The Thanksgiving dinner was perfection. The cooking of the turkey along with traditional side dishes all having been prepared to perfection
by our hosts. Each of the guest brought a dish so all had a part in the feast. The conversation at dinner was lots of fun with many complements being passed along to the
hosts for all their efforts to bring this about. Dessert was served in front of a big TV where we were all treated to a win by our local football team.
A Holiday that I am certain all of us will never forget.
I am hopeful each of you were able to have joy be a companion at your Thanksgiving no matter what or where the setting may have been.
Thanks for joining us for the current photo presentation. You are cordially invited to return Friday, January 11th for a new picture
that we hope you will enjoy.
Best wishes,
Bruce

What a beautiful location to spend Thanksgiving. Its almost the complete opposite of what you expect on Thanksgiving, with all the black friday hustle and bustle.

I am envious of the location. If I had a house on a lake like that I would just fish and drink beer 24/7.

What a great place to spend that holiday. I could easily see myself stuffing my face full of all kinds of food then going out to a lounge chair by the lake and spend the evening relaxing.

I'll trade you houses next year!

I'm with Gabe on that one. Undo my pants button and not get up for hours.
