This photo was taken on November 6, 2012 at 8:03 am.
The location was in Downtown Washington DC.
The "Take It!" came from this massive cloud cover that was in the shape of a swirl. The photo does not do it justice and I must say I was
frustrated in not having some sort of open field nor building top to which I could have gotten to immediately to capture this amazing effect.
The After Take: Most who I showed these photos to liked them and said they wished they could have seen them too. To be candid - I think the
clouds were so close together and had such a full coverage of the sky that many could have missed the phenominon.
Here is hoping you will join me in taking a regular opportunity to look up when outside on cloudy days - for there could be a big surprise up
there waiting for you.
Thanks for joining us for the current photo presentation. You are cordially invited to return Tuesday, February 5th for a new picture
that we hope you will enjoy.
All my very best to you,
Bruce

You are very lucky to find stuff like this. Whenever I look up all I see is, well, maybe its just my lack of imagination.

Thank you for your creative comments - your observations are inspirational. I am an avid cloud watcher which is a carry over from childhood. I cannot remember who it was that introduced me to the game of ' lets find a shape ' but to who ever it was - I owe them a life long debt of gratitude. I try to repay this debt with a pay back of sharing my findings.
