This photo series was taken on December 18, 2013 at 9:10 AM.
The location was in my house in Bethesda, Maryland
The "Take it!" came from having a serious sleep in morning and awakening to a bright sunny morning. One of the things that immediately caught my eye was how the small sliver of unshaded sunlight
happened to match up with the level I had made a place for on the side of the book shelves. The preciseness of the edge of the sun with the level was one of those hit the half way mark on the
awesome meter. I got out of bed as fast as I could and found my camera to take these shots knowing how fast the sun touch could be lost because of its natural movement in the sky.
The After Take: To those that I showed this to - many thought it was a cool catch but also wondered what in the world I had a level in my bedroom for? Some time ago we posted a photo/story
about my sometimes bumping a picture on my wall when making my bed. To make certain I realigned the picture correctly - I brought up a level from my basement shop and took the wonder if it
is straight out of the equation. Rather than making the fetch it trip to the basement all the time, I decided to make a home for the level close to where it was most frequently used.
The explanation of this took longer than that of explaining my fascination with the sun streak - lol.
Here is hoping you occasionally have a morning like this one, which included the rare treat of sleeping in with a reminder of the luxury being provided by a well placed sun streak.
Wishing you the very best,
Bruce

Without the explanation I would have thought you had planned that.

Love the blinds, they look like they do a great job.... I'm going to have to look for some like those, mine just are NOT cutting it. I get a blast of sunlight every morning.
