The upper photo was taken on January 31, 2015 at 12:07 PM and the lower one on January 23, 2015 at 7:44 PM.
The location is in Tyson's Corner, Virginia.
The "Take It!" Came in one of those "ah ha" moments when I discovered the answer to a long held question about a seemingly small detail in the final finish look of the building we
featured some time ago that was having a complete make over with a glass finish replacing one that was made up primarily of concrete.
The face change was complete as shown in the first daytime photo. The final result is one that is far more modern and a better reflection of the neighborhood. I think if they have not
already gotten a new tenant, they will not have trouble in finding one soon. It falls into the "Job well done" category.
The one nagging question concerned the white separations between most of the panels of this surface glass. There just did not seem to be any obvious answer.
One night after attending a reception in that neighborhood I was on my way home on the beltway after the sun had set, when I saw the answer in the form of the building lit up with blue lights.
I grabbed my camera and took the night time photo while moving at about 65 mph which accounts for the blur.
Having long time questions answered unexpectedly is yet another one of those life time joys.
Wishing you the very best,
Bruce

I think the blurriness of the second photo adds something to it. I like it like that!

Oh how neat! The gaps are the lights, that was a really interesting design.

i like how the water drops are in focus on the night time picture
i know you were going for a picture of the building but the water drops in the forground were a happy accident
